April 7th.
Create a Fib poem in a six-line form. Fib poems have a syllable count that is based off the Fibonacci sequence of 1/1/2/3/5/8. Mine features a creature I have long admired.

Toot
Toot
Flightpath
Streamlined decaled sight.
Foreign garden triangulated
Sweet target sighted,
Alighted.
Toot
Toot
This is such a sweet and simple poem that perfectly suits this tiny bird.

Wow, thank you. I do think that it’s easy to wash over our work when it is as compact as a Fib Poem (not that I’ve done one before) but it really is the case of less is so much more adn I really wanted to do the Nuthatch justice, as I love them so much.

Agree with Smitha, perfectly goes with the image. What I love about Fib, visually, is the symmetry.

Thanks Deepa. I really don’t get on with Haikus due to their short length, I can see me doing more Fibs though, especially the bird series I’ve been meaning to work on
